  2. The Music Game CD Full-Motion Video Setup

  5. Before running "The Music Game" CD, you MUST install the 
  6. runtime version of Microsoft Video for Windows.  You should 
  7. perform the following steps immediately after reading this 
  8. document.  
  9.   
  10. If are already using Microsoft Video Windows version 1.0 you 
  11. will need to perform the steps outlined below.  The Music 
  12. Game CD uses Video for Windows version 1.1.

  15. How to install the Runtime version of Video for Windows v1.1  
  16. ------------------------------------------------------------

  18. Since the Music Game CD uses full-motion video, it is 
  19. necessary to install the run-time version of Microsoft 
  20. Video for Windows.  If you do not install the run-time 
  21. version of Microsoft Video for Windows the Music Game 
  22. CD will not work properly!

  24. NOTE:  If Microsoft Video for Windows version 1.1 
  25. is already installed on your system, please skip 
  26. the following steps.

  28. 1.    From the main menu of Program Manager, select 
  29. the File menu and then select the Run... 
  30. option.

  32. 2.    In the Command Line Box enter the letter of 
  33. your CD-ROM drive followed by the 
  34. \WINVIDEO\SETUP.EXE file name.  For example, 
  35. if your CD-ROM drive is E:, enter 
  36. E:\WINVIDEO\SETUP.EXE and then click the OK 
  37. button.

  39. 3.    Accept all the default prompts that the Video 
  40. for Windows installation program displays.
